Supported assets
Two payment tokens are supported. USDG is a stablecoin with six decimals, and ETH is the native asset of the chain. A quest is denominated in one or the other at creation, and the choice cannot change afterwords.
USDG quests need an ERC-20 approval before the bounty can be locked, so posting one is two transactions rather than one. ETH quests carry the value with the call and need only a single transaction.
- USDGStablecoin, six decimals.
approve, thencreateOpenBountyorcreateAssignedQuest: two transactions. - ETHThe chain’s native asset, eighteen decimals. The value travels with the create call: one transaction.
Bridge USDG or ETH onto Robinhood Chain before posting a quest.
02
Protocol fee
The contract takes a protocol fee expressed in basis points. It is currently 1% (100 bps), taken from the reward on payout and credited to the treasury Safe, so a worker receives 99% of the bounty on completion.
The fee is fixed for each quest at the moment it is created, so a later change never touches a bounty already in escrow. The contract owner can change it for new quests, up to a hard cap of 10%. When a dispute is ruled for the creator, the refund is the full bounty with no fee.
03
Refunds and disputes
Funds can only leave escrow in two directions. They go to the worker or the winner when the quest is paid out, or back to the creator when the quest is cancelled before anyone takes it or refunded after its deadline. Nothing can send a bounty to anyone else.
R1Two directions, nobody else
To the worker or the winner on payout, or back to the creator on a cancel or an expired refund. Even a dispute ruling can only pay one of the two parties; the 30-day timeout splits a delivered quest between them.

R2The creator reclaims an expired quest
claimExpiredRefund returns the bounty to the creator once a quest nobody took has passed its deadline, or once an accepted quest is still undelivered 3 days after it. A delivered quest is not refundable this way: it is protected by the review window instead.

R3A dispute holds the bounty
Either party can dispute an accepted or delivered quest. The bounty stays in escrow until the arbiter, the protocol owner Safe, rules for the creator or the worker. If no ruling comes within 30 days, anyone can settle it: a delivered quest splits the bounty evenly, an undelivered one refunds the creator.

R4Credited, then withdrawn
Payouts and refunds are credited to the recipient’s balance in the escrow, per token, and the recipient calls withdraw to move it to their wallet. Your claimable balance and the withdraw button are on the Rewards page.
